The Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY Interactive Signal Processor. 3SIXTY allows aftermarket car audio equipment to be integrated into existing OEM environments through artificial intelligence, designed to automatically correct OEM inadequacies by restoring a flat frequency response and delivering an Aux input for your iPod® or other MP3 player.
This basically means that the 3SIXTY will take the junk signal coming from your cars standard radio and make it into a clean, flat & high quality signal - the kind of signal an amplifier likes to get in order to make your speakers operate to their potential.
I for one have installed an aftermarket audio system into my car, but opted to keep my original head unit as I wanted to retain the steering wheel control, the seperate display at the top of the dash and the way it fits neatly into the look and feel of my interior. But when I crank my system I experience the buzz of a signal being amplified twice - The 3SIXTY is definately the answer for me.
The 3SIXTY has a 6-channel high-level input, 153 bands of equalization, normal auxiliary RCA inputs, Digital Signal Processor, a remote programmable master volume/aux volume control & wireless Bluetooth®.
